During the Miss World beauty pageant, I personally admit that my bet was Miss Brazil and Miss France but everything changed during the question and answer portion. For me, Megan Young gave the perfect answer during the question and answer portion and that was one of the factors that won her the crown as Miss World 2013. Of course Megan Young made the entire Philippines proud after she won the title as Miss World 2013. She inspired many people during that pageant and right now she is very happy and she is celebrating her victory. But I never really thought that she could win the pageant, like what I said earlier; during the start of the pageant my bet was Miss Brazil and Miss France and my bets even made it to the top 5 candidates. I was confident enough that either one of them will win the crown but I wasn’t really expecting that Megan Young will reign victorious of the title.

Right now in 2013, Megan Young is very happy and proud as the title holder for Miss World 2013. I know that her family and friends are very proud of it as well as all of the people in the Philippines. She made the country proud. I know that there are a lot of beautiful women out there in the Philippines. Right after Megan Young won the pageant, I became a fan of the beauty queens in the Philippines. Indeed they are very intelligent and for sure the pressure is now on because on the next pageant, it will be Miss Universe and for sure the next Philippine candidate will have a huge amount of pressure because Megan Young just won the previous competition and she needs to keep the winning streak going. But I think Megan Young will be helping the next candidate and I think she will be giving her some tips basing from her personal experience.

Megan Young really made her country proud and right now she has another task to inspire more people in her country, the Philippines. I know that she will be quite busy after winning the project because she has a lot of TV shows, interviews and mall tours but actually it is also a positive sign because the more she will be exposed to the fans and to the Filipino people and for sure she will be able to inspire them and make them feel proud as well.
