The Azkals are the pride of the Philippines when we talk about football. The Philippine Azkals is the best football team in the Philippines in 2013 and they are competing international tournaments just to bring glory to the country. The Philippine Azkals is also having a great job for exposing football in the Philippines. As you know the number one sports in the Philippines is basketball and right now in 2013, the latest news update is that football has become the country’s number 2 sport with the help of the Philippine Azkals.

All I can say is that I am very proud of the Philippine Azkals because they really exerted much effort  for the exposure of football in the country. I am hoping that the team will continue to inspire a lot of young kids out there so that they will love the game of football. According to the latest news update, team Azkals is also having some clinics and tutorials in different schools in the country. As a fan, I am very happy to know about that news update for their team and it is one way of showing that they really want football to be more popular in the country. I wish I could be able to attend in their tutorials so that I will know the basics about football. I am a football fan and I’ve watched and played a lot of football games but for me, it is just different to be tutored by team Azkals. Those kids that experienced the clinics in 2013 are very lucky. I wish I could be one of those kids.

The latest tournament that the Philippine Azkals participated is the Peace cup. It was held in the Philippines and the news update about the Peace cup is that the Azkals managed to defend their title. They were able to beat the Pakistan in the final game and defended their championship. Last year, the Azkals were crowned as the champions of the peace cup and this year they proved that they could be one of the dominant football team in Asia now in 2013. The team Azkals needs room for improvement especially on international tournaments. But I believe that someday they could be crowned as champion in Asia especially in the Fiba Asia tournament. I hope that they will train hard in order to be ready for the upcoming tournament and hopefully win in that tournament. If they will be Fiba Asia champions then I could say they could inspire more people in the Philippines in playing football. I strongly believe on that team and I am hoping that they will win their first Asian championship if not in 2013 but in the years to come. I am looking forward in watching their games in the future and I am supporting them all throughout the year 2013 and for the years to come.
